All Telecom Company New Recharge Plan December 2019 Bharti Airtel on Sunday announced increased tariffs for prepaid customers. The new plans will come into effect from December 3, the telecom operator said in a statement. The recent announcement comes on the backdrop of Airtel’s highest quarterly loss of Rs 50,922 crore amid an adverse Supreme Court ruling on adjusted gross revenue (AGR). The top court allowed the telecom department to recover dues worth Rs 1.33 lakh crore from telecom companies. In November, both Airtel and Vodafone Idea had announced to raise tariffs in December.

The development came a few hours after Vodafone Idea Ltd. announced plans to raise mobile rates on similar lines. But Airtel’s new prepaid plans, effective Dec. 3, are marginally cheaper.
“Airtel’s new plans, represent tariff increases in the range of a mere 50 paise per day to Rs 2.85 per day and offer generous data and calling benefits. These tariffs will be applicable from Tuesday, December 3, 2019,” the company said in a statement.
The operator has announced new plans in “unlimited”category with 2 days, 28 days, 84 days, 365 days validity, which are costlier by up to up to 41.14 percent, calculations show.
The new pricing represents a very modest increase. The effective revision in today’s context is equal to what a customer would pay for a cup of tea in week at a roadside stall, a company official, who did not wish to be named, said.
The minimum monthly recharge plan for both Airtel and Vodafone Idea now stands at Rs 49, as against Rs 35 earlier.
And, like Vodafone Idea, Airtel has also capped outgoing calls that can be made to rival network. Buyers of the monthly prepaid plan will get 1,000 minutes of outgoing calls, while those with a three-month subscription will get 3,000 minutes. An annual plan will buy customers 12,000 minutes of outgoing calls.
Beyond these limits, a customer will need to pay 6 paise per minute for outgoing calls.
According to the new Airtel prepaid plans, the tariff hike is the steepest for annual plans at 41.14 precent. An annual unlimited plan will now cost Rs 2,398 instead of 1,699 at present.

Reliance Jio Prepaid Recharge Plan December 2019
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Reliance Jio, closely following its competition, announced new ‘All-in-One plans’ which will see a hike of up to 40 per cent from the current plans. Airtel and Vodafone, earlier on Sunday, announced their revised recharge plans for subscribers. Reliance Jio further revealed that the new plans would be effective from December 6.
In a statement on Sunday, Reliance Jio announced the new tariff hike. At the moment, it is not clear whether the tariff hike will impact only prepaid or will also lead to a rise in postpaid plans.
“Jio will be introducing a new All-in-One plan with unlimited voice and data. These plans will have a fair usage policy for calls to other mobile networks. The new plans will be effective from December 6 2019 (06/12/2019),” the company said in a release.
Reliance Jio claims that despite a rise of up to 40 per cent in its tariffs, the telecom operator will offer 300 per cent more benefits to its customers.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
“While remaining committed to the ultimate interest of the consumer, Jio will take all necessary steps to help sustain the Indian telecommunications industry. Jio will continue to work with the Government on the consultation process for revision of telecom tariffs and looks forward to participation from all other stakeholders,” the company added in the release.
Jio says that the new ‘All-in-One’ plans will be available across multiple price points. However, the company is yet to release exact prepaid recharge plans for customers. Airtel and Vodafone Idea have been quick in revealing precise recharge plans for their customers.
